Interviews

Invasion Wreck Chords

Alexey Protasov and Natasha - Invasion Wreck Chords
Bringing the ethos of punk to the electronic and industrial scenes, Invasion Wreck Chords is the brainchild and publishing arm of Bielorussian heavy-electronics duo Ambassador21. In addition to Ambassador21, it is also home to acts such as Boot-Sector-Viruz, Monoid, Rasputeen and CTRLer.

Reviews

Soiled - 'Shambolic Psychotic'

Soiled - Shambolic Psychotic
Soiled is probably one of the more obscure (and thankfully unpolished) jewels of British fringe experimentalism whose music as a whole (not just "Shambolic Psychotic") deserves to be discovered and appreciated.

V/A - 'Women Take Back The Noise'

V/A - Women Take Back The Noise
A very strong collection of work by female Noise artists. If this is only a sample of what women are currently offering this scene, I think that the men who lazily blast feedback in the name of art have something to be truly scared of!

Slow Soldier - 'New Under The Volt'

Slow Soldier - New Under The Volt
An album equally suited for a IDM dancefloor mix, a breakneck road trip or a urban commute amongst wires, concrete, steel and the omnipresent haze of artificial light. If you have grown tired of banal beats and similar sounds then "New Under The Volt" is the refreshing break that you are looking for.

Randy Greif & Kenji Siratori - 'Narcoleptic Cells'

Randy Greif & Kenji Siratori - Narcoleptic Cells
Only and wholly defined by ever-shifting sound, this otherwise characteristic dark ambient body, with its morphing atmospherics accompanied by infinitesimal moments of intelligible spoken word, is as good as it gets.

Oh fuck, I knew there was something I had forgotten when copy/pasting the templates in the wee hours. Oh well, it's on October 11th so +/- a week doesn't make much difference, does it?

Just made an order from ADD by the way:
Cosmicity "Pure"
Dubok "Shiver"
Fantazja "Help Yourself"
Information Society "Synthesizer / First Edition"
Macondo "Up here for Thinking Down there for Dancing"
Various Artists "Synthpop for a Darkened Room 4"

We ordered the Information Society relying on your good taste. Do not fail us, mr. Marcham...

Yeah the InSoc album is great! The Osciallator EP is pretty damn good as well. OMG I wasn't even aware that Fantazja was out! Really looking forward to hearing that album.
